1812 Martello Tower is located just a few blocks away and is operated by Tourism New Brunswick. They offer a great film and tour. When finished there you will find many nearby parks to visit.
Harbour Passage walking and biking trail extends from Market Slip “uptown” to the Reversing Fall Rapids. This paved walking trail is wide and easy to travel except for moving onto the sidewalk near the trails end. You will find interpretation panels and park benches along the way. Consider making a breakfast, lunch or dinner reservation at the Reversing Falls Restaurant in advance of starting the 5.6 km trip. Taxi service is available from the Reversing Falls Tourist Centre if you wish to drive back.
Lou Murphy Park is North of the pulp mill at 231 ½ Milford Road. This almost unknown 27 acre park offers a beautiful walk through the forest and along coastal high ground.
Fallsview Park is located across the Reversing Falls Bridge and off Douglas Avenue. Cross the bridge and take a left and then another left at the park sign. Walk the trail towards the bridge.
If you prefer to be near the sea and beach combing is your style then visit the many public beaches located within 5 minutes of Reversing Falls Rapids.
